When you request a free guide, book a call or contact us, we collect the information you choose to submit, which may include:
- Your name, email address and website when you request The Website Leak Guide
- Your name, email address, the date and time you pick and any answers you add when you book a call through Calendly
- The content of the emails you send us and the contact details they contain
- The business information, content, access and billing details needed to deliver a client project
Log data and measurement
Our hosting provider processes the information your browser sends when you visit the Website, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the Website and keep it secure.
Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights record aggregated page views and page performance without cookies and without identifying you.
The Website Leak Audit saves your answers only in your own browser. We do not receive them unless you share them with us.
How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Send you the resources you request and keep a record of the request
- Prepare for and hold the calls you book
- Answer your questions and communicate with you about a project
- Deliver, invoice and support client projects
- Understand how the Website is used and improve it
- Keep the Website secure and meet our legal and accounting obligations
Requesting a free resource does not subscribe you to marketing emails. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Service providers
We use third-party companies to operate the Website and the studio, including:
- Vercel, for website hosting, Web Analytics and Speed Insights
- Google, for Google Analytics (with your consent) and Google Sheets, where guide requests are stored
- Calendly, to schedule calls
- Stripe, to process client payments. We never see or store your full card number.
These providers access personal information only to perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
Where your information is stored
Some of our service providers store and process information outside Quebec and Canada, including in the United States. Before relying on a provider, we assess whether it protects personal information adequately. Information stored outside Quebec may be subject to the laws of the country where it is held.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, then delete or anonymize it. Guide requests and enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for up to three years after our last exchange.
Client and billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require, generally six years after the end of the fiscal year to which they relate.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections, limited access and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify the people affected and the relevant authorities as required by law.
Your choices and rights
We collect and use your personal information with your consent, which you give when you submit a form, book a call, contact us or accept analytics cookies. Subject to applicable law, you may:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it
- Have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected
- Withdraw your consent, or ask us to stop using or to delete your information
- Receive information you provided in a structured, commonly used format
To make a request, write to info@studiomouss.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity and will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Europe, your local data protection authority.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on your consent, on the steps needed to enter into or perform a contract with you, on our legal obligations and on our legitimate interest in running and securing our business.

The Website links to sites we do not operate, such as Calendly and Instagram. If you click a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services.
Children’s privacy
Our Website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 14. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
